Yummy

This wedding rocked. Really. The bride was living in California until the week of the wedding so I got to work with the groom. Which, surprisingly, was extremely fun. They wanted something different and really chabby-chic. So we did long tables, with different sized apothecaryn jars with moss and succulents down all of the tables. We then took tons of different types of flowers and put them into the hundreds of bottles the bride had bought at vintage stores all over California. It was gorgeous! And, her bouquet was Delicious! More photos to come! All of the photography was done by the amazing Scott Jarvie of Digital Jarvie, which is based in Salt Lake City. As you can see, he is willing to travel!

Last week I got to practice my photography skills... on Dana and Brent and Hurley! These are some of my faves...

This wedding was my wonderful friend's Jessica Jacobs at the country club in Idaho Falls... I was so happy that I got to do her flowers because the entire time I was making her bouquet I was thinking about all of the wonderful memories we had of growing up together...I love this girl. We were back-door neighbors since we were five... six? And we would sit on the dividing fence between our houses and just talk... the most descriptive phrase of our friendship was "meet me at the fence". I am so happy she got to marry such a wonderful guy and I am so happy for them. Congrats!! Also, I am in various photography classes(Love the fact that pictures don't DIE!!!) and so I took a stab at the photos myself... although I seriously can't wait to see the professional photos that were done by Robin Spencer photography.

The Malibu Barbie

I will start out by saying that I LOVE this girl and her mother.... they are so fun. They first came to me and told me that they wanted something "not Idaho-e". It was love at first meeting. I was lucky enough to get to work with Kristi Sheriff... and when I get the rest of the wedding photos they will blow your socks off. Here are just a few teaser's from her bridal session.

Here Is What You Have Missed

I know, I know, I was missing for about 4 monthes... I'm Sorry!!! It was such a busy summer... to bring you up to speed on my summer I will be posting like a maniac for the next couple of days.... here is Jon and Satyra's wedding, May 31st, at the brides barn... so cute!! Sneaky Peaky

Look HOW CUTE! This bride was the most feminine/hardcore bride I have ever met... she had sweet tattoos and nose rings and yet, she was graceful and genuinly gorgeous...more pictures to come!

I LOVE PINK

Seriously, I love pink. It is one of my favorite colors, which is why I am always drawn to pink flowers...I was hired by Taylor of Taylor Made Dreams to make the bouquet and boutonierre for this adorable bride..we then miraculously got Kristi Sheriff of Kristi Sheriff photography to take these gorgeous pictures of the bouquet! The bouquet includes peonies, nerine lilies, ranunculus, and sweet pea! Totally spring and totally PINK!

Seeded Eucalyptus

I have noticed that I am becoming obsessed with plant elements that are a bit more rustic looking. Perhaps this is Idaho rubbing off on me? One can never be sure... but I do know that I still love the simplistic design look. Again, this means one or two plant elements in one container. No more! Then set them side by side, or one in front of the other and it makes for an interesting visual feast! Enjoy!

ColorYummy Bouquet

I love Yummy things, namely gummi bears, starbursts, froyo, and cheese. But I think this bouquet is YUMMY! I love all the colors! This bouquet was made to go with the simplistic table and like I said, anyone with the same color pallete only has to email me to get a bouquet HALF OFF!! Even the price of the bouquet is YUMMY!

Simplicity Table

Here is the simplistic table I promised... I was going for a shabby chic/ barnyard fall feel and I adore these glass containers. I also love the color pallette, the oranges, greens, purples, corals, whites, and blues. GIVEAWAY!!! Anyone who contacts me and uses this color pallette will get their bridal bouquet half off!
